Fascinating consideration of the film and Nolan’s motives. I didn’t look this deeply into the film myself but I like this analysis, it fits so well. It makes sense, it reaffirms my opinion of Nolan, a creator forging an individual career in the arena of shallow, restricted and expensive film-making.
